above all, be smart!

The most important advice I ever give my younger friends is BE SMART! If you are going to have sex (or anything close to it) - use protection! If you are going to drink, DO NOT get behind the wheel (i.e. Do not drive a car!) or get in a vehicle with anyone who has been drinking. Be smart. The life you save may be your own.

straight talk for teens and young adults

I am a young-ish adult who resents that I wasn't given better advice and guidance when I was a teen and young adult. Much of the reason for this is that my father was dying of lung cancer and my mom was busy trying to keep our world revolving. So, it has been my personal mission to give good advice to the young adults I know. I have thought about getting into coaching/mentoring and may yet do that. But, I felt this might be a way to get my feet wet in this area. I hope you'll come back often to check out my no b.s. advice for teens and young adults.
